Description

Responsibilities:-

  • Leadership role in the company’s accounting team, preparing the financial accounts under IGAAP (Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) the Indian Accounting Standards and in accordance with statutory, tax and audit regulations
  • Maintain close liaison with the company’s operating departments to provide financial advisory and other support in accordance with the companies act and applicable regulations and accounting standards
  • Monitor regulatory changes, identify implications on company’s accounting practices and facilitate the required system and process changes as appropriate
  • Interface with external auditors in the planning and execution of the audit field work on the financial statements for adoption by the Board of Directors
  • Timely preparation and submission of the company statutory filings with Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Reserve Bank of India
  • Coordinate for accounting and other evaluation of business initiatives and project proposals to maximize company’s returns

Qualification:-

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a score of GPA 6.5 and above
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
  • Minimum 7 years of post CA qualification work experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in India corporate statutory reporting, internal financial reporting controls, cost audit and tax audit 
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and practices, relevant laws and regulations
  • Experience in manufacturing industry / corporates will be an added advantage
  • Experience with SAP, enterprise resource planning and automation tools for data management 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc., 
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
