Country Group Head Finance South Asia

POSITION PURPOSE:

• Responsible for Treasury and Insurance of the Bayer Group in South Asia
• Lead and develop the team members of the Treasury and Insurance function

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Steer the Financial Management of each individual company of the Bayer Group in India and monitoring of the same for Bangladesh and Pakistan
• Ensure internal and regulatory compliance for all financial transactions undertaken especially from FEMA and RBI perspective
• Set up the optimal capital structure of each entity and render support to any Merger & Acquisition / Joint Venture/Divestment activity in India
• Ensure liquidity at each entity level for smooth operations and to support business growth
• Structure the optimal dividend strategy
• Maintain bank relations and set up optimal bank credit limits for each company
• Analyse the various insurable risks the organization is exposed to, budget for the acceptable deductible and place the residual exposure with insurance companies thereby mitigating the financial risks

WHO YOU ARE:

• MBA in Finance and a Certificate Course in Insurance.
• Strong (people) management, leadership, organizational, analytical, communication and cross-functional networking skills
• Recognized personality who possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and is pro-active, decisive, self-motivated and results-driven and sensitive to people with varying backgrounds in all functions and on all levels of the Bayer organization
• Subject Matter expertise of regulations like Foreign Exchange Management Act, Central Bank Regulations, Foreign Direct Investment and all facets of Financial markets
