•       Hands-on R Programming / Python experience to deliver automation-based projects. Intermediate to Advanced level is a must.

•       Analytical ability to understand the data and use programming skills to develop ideas into meaningful outcomes in the form of tools, products, package development, automation set-ups, dynamic charts.

•       Able to write efficient code and troubleshoot external codes to streamline source codes

•       Understanding of financial concepts, financial statement analysis, macro-economic factors etc. is required

•       Understanding of securitization process and the risks associated in securitization framework is an added advantage

•       Apart from delivering automation-based projects, the candidate would be trained to:

  • Supporting global Credit Analyst(s) in analyzing the performance of a portfolio of structured finance transactions, and in responding to credit events
  • Assist global Credit Analyst(s) in credit and cash flow analysis
  • Assist global Credit Analysts in preparing publishable press releases.
  • Create and regularly maintain structured finance models (RMBS, ABS, CMBS, etc. across regions) using proprietary platforms; ensure the correctness of the cash flows. Modelling involves:
  • In-depth understanding of transaction documents such as Offering Circular, Indenture, Swap Agreement, etc. to understand the structure and features of the deals Writing appropriate formulae/ codes for payments structures in the tool to generate the required output
  • Model maintenance involves regular testing and validation of models based on the most recent reports, statements published by issuers, servicers, understanding payment structures and revising the model to be in sync with expected outcome
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the structured finance market (including regulatory changes) and understand / be able to comment on their potential impact
  • Support Primary Analyst in presenting in CMTs.

Qualifications:- Two years full-time MBA (Finance) OR CFA or equivalent.
