Description

Responsibilities:-

  • General ledger management: Review, reconcile and clear open items in various balance sheet accounts; follow up with various internal stakeholders for clearing of old open items; prepare monthly schedules for specific accounts 
  • Book closing: Support in monthly book closing process for expense accrual and accounting adjustments; manage prepaid expenses
  • External / internal audits: Prepare statutory financials, notes to accounts and schedules; coordinate external and internal audits; answer audit queries
  • Financial analysis: Support Accounting Manager and Finance Director on expenses and balance sheet analysis 
  • Compliance with internal controls: Support Accounting Manager on complying with internal controls for accounting function
  • Other accounting support: Interact with various internal stakeholders like PtP, RtR, Credit Control and Treasury teams for accounting and reporting matters; help Tax, Legal and HR teams in extracting data for statutory submissions; help stakeholders in setting up cost centers and GLs, monitoring intercompany accruals and transactions; extend support in manual payments

Qualification:-

  • CA / CA Intermediate qualification  
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic SAP and MS Office knowledge
