Description
Responsibilities:-
Deliver Accounts Payable deliverables including but not limited to:
• Mailbox management for Assembly, review, and verification of invoices and payment & queries
• Flagging and clarifying any questionable invoice terms or pricing issues
• Processing invoices into the AP system
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining Vendor master records
• Travel and Expense approval & payments by verifying expense reports and preparing to pay
• Vendors and employees payment run
• Responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Monthly and closing assistance
• Audit documentation and support
• Continuing to improve the payment process
• Fixed Asset accounting – Accusation, transfer, creation, depreciation and scrapping
• Fixed Asset reporting – comparison and GAAP reports and analysis
Qualification(s):-
• Bachelor or Masters in Accounting/ MBA Finance plus German language (Read/Write/Speak)/B2 or above level
Experience:-
• Minimum 3yr to 5yrs. of experience in core Accounts Payable (AP) process with exposure of multiple processes within AP
• Preference to be given to candidates with experience with Banking or Financial services Organizations
• Any experience of transitioning AP or Financial & Accounting processes from onshore locations will be a plus
• Intermediate to advance level of knowledge around accountings standards, IFRS
• Should have intermediate to advance level of knowledge for accounting principles & practices with ability to understand and pass accounting transactions.
Functional Competencies:-
• Prior experience in SAP and excel is a must
• Advance level of proficiency in MS-Office (Excel & Word).
• Finance & Accounting domain knowledge
• Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills
