Description
Responsibilities:-
- Delivery of global finance & accounting processes based out of India
- Accounting to Reporting – including statutory reporting, management reporting, and pool reporting
- Procurement to Pay (P2P)
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Performance measurement and management
- Adhere to internal SLAs with production process ensuring service timeliness and service Quality
- Lead transformation projects to assess and expand the financial processes managed out of India
Overseeing finances accounting for the India operation
- Manage the accounting, legal, tax, and treasury departments
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Implement operational best practices
- Oversee the issuance of financial information to internal as well as external stakeholders
- Review and approve all statutory forms and filings with regards to the company’s accounting and tax compliances
- Report financial results to the board of directors and shareholders of the company
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
- Manage any third parties certain accounting, legal and tax functions have been outsourced
- Being an active member of the India leadership team and Global Finance Leadership team
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management and leadership team
Qualification:-
The candidate should ideally be a Chartered Accountant/US CPA with minimum 12 years’ experience with 5+ years in a senior role with proven ability to lead, self-motivated and engage a diverse and large work force and below abilities -
- Experience from a similar position with strong ability on business partner engagement
- Offshoring experience and experience with similar industry would be an added advantage
- Strong project management skills and experience in leading multi-geography migrations with involvement from the strategic stage itself. Preparation of project plans and execution of same within timelines by ensuring timely recruitment, risk identification, knowledge transfer, setting up objective measurement systems and performance against same.
