· Provide critical assurance to firm leadership and other outside regulatory bodies that Deloitte has independence quality control procedures in place to effectively monitor our people's adherence to firm policy and regulatory requirements.

·Effectively monitor our people's adherence to firm policy.

·Perform representation approvals identifying potential independence impairing situations.

·Provide team coaching and training via the approval procedures.

·Evaluate conclusions in prior representations in order to confirm accurate and consistent outcomes.

·Demonstrate an ability to team with our US group as well as other groups within Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN).

·Gain a detailed understanding of existing policies, internal guidance and protocols, and function as a subject matter resource.

·Invest in developing strong problem-solving skills and leverage knowledge for process improvement

·Contribute ideas and content for the monthly team meeting and demonstrate the ability to lead team meetings.

·Provide coaching and guidance to team members on the subject of inventory management and best practices.

·Support Analysts and peers in complex matters such as answering questions related to complicated representations.

·Support the team management by handling various operational responsibilities within the team.

·Approve APR 105 emails notifying our clients of potential violations.

·Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the representation review/approve process through recommendation of changes in policies and/or procedures.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by impactful, clear and concise writing.

·Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to comfortably and confidently communicate virtually with other members of the team in India and US.

·Customer service attitude with dedication to quality and demonstrated attention to detail.

·High degree of professionalism and discretion with ability to handle high-level confidential data.

·Proficiency in MS office applications such as Microsoft Excel (such as vlookup and pivot charts), Outlook, Word etc.

·Self-starter, with the ability to stay focused to self-manage assigned project goals and meet deadlines.

·Demonstrated ability to think critically, outside the box and strong research-based decision-making skills.

·Strong organizational skills demonstrated by ability to organize and maintain several key responsibilities at once, while managing ad hoc requests.

·Project management skills and ability to multi-task effectively.

·Ability to present ideas and business recommendations for the continuous improvement of processes.

·Strong leadership skills.


1.    Prior experience in Risk & Compliance.

2.    Basic awareness of regulatory policies pertaining to the securities markets and the PCAOB.

3.    Knowledge of Firm Independence, Ethics and Compliance policies.

4.    Project management skills.

Qualification: MBA (preferably Finance)

Overall relevant experience: Between 3 - 5 years
