Location: Hyderabad

Your Responsibilities






  • Analyze and prepare headcount activity reports on a monthly basis for Investment Services, Legal and Compliance Teams.



  • Prepare Year to Date general ledger extract analysis for multiple investment teams for reporting purposes.



  • Able to extract reports from the reporting tool with correct dimensions for required investment teams in order to reconcile the details with general ledger data.



  • Analyze Actual /Budget/ Forecast scenarios as per the Investment team requirements.





  • Perform variance analysis of Actuals data with Budget, Forecast and prior period Actuals data



  • Update the monthly reports with ongoing amendments for investment team and simultaneously update the reporting tools.



  • Understand any limitations and communicate expected delay in the set timelines to related parties.



  • Meeting process SLAs on consistent basis.



  • Capable enough to handle other sub-processes for various teams and be able to work on ad-hoc requests.





  • Assist senior team members in preparing the process documentation (SOP, Process Maps etc.)



  • Maintaining process trackers (Activity tracker, Issue & Error log, Query log, exception tracker etc.)



  • Prepare root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive measure for the process errors.



  • Contribute to continuous improvements of process







Your Competencies




Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); understanding of internal control elements; strong problem solving and analytical skills; good interpersonal skills; ability to manage team members and deliverables; good written and oral communication skills; highly organized; ability to meet strict deadlines; ability to interview, hire, and train employees; excellent customer service skills; ability to plan, assign, and direct work; ability to multi-task




2 to 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in the Financial Planning & Analysis process; Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle; Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis process improvement and application systems implementation; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills, Ability to slice, dice and analyse data in multiple dimensional view



  • Ability to analyse financials leveraging tools/capabilities like Alteryx etc. and Data visualization tools like Tableau and/or Power BI



  • Structured, disciplined approach to work with attention to detail



  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and flexible to deliver amid uncertainty (e.g., imperfect data, loosely defined concepts, changing priorities)



  • Multi-tasker and self-motivated; capable of working under limited or no supervision





  • Positive and constructive team player with good communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills



  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple changing priorities along with the day-to-day responsibilities.



  • Sound analytical and reporting skills and ability to understand complicated topics, apply critical thinking and judgement



  • Keenness and aptitude to learn, upskill and mentor in the respective technical domain



  • Able to work in a global, multicultural environment







Education & Certifications




Postgraduate in Finance / MBA Finance from Tier 2 colleges preferred. FPA certified / Fintech education will be an added advantage




Shift Timings


Work hours will be from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST (01:30 PM to 10:30PM IST) and may include late hours and/or weekend support – during close.
