We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our EMEA Group Regulatory Reporting team as a manager. You will lead the regulatory reporting workstream located in Gurugram, India. The regulatory reporting team is responsible for a broad range of internal and external reporting requirements for Macquarie within the EMEA region, working closely with the Risk Management Group and other business groups.


For each of the relevant group entities your key responsibilities will include, thorough understanding and review of the regulatory calculations and obligations. You’ll also be preparing and be involved in finalisation of ESMA regulatory returns, Annexure IV returns to FCA, BaFin and other regulators within EU region.


You’ll also be assisting with the onboarding of new returns as needed and assist with the automation of the return generation function via Axiom. You’ll develop a detailed understanding of the business activities and the financial position of each of the regulated entities, covering a diverse range of financial and investment activities. You’ll also support relationship management with internal stakeholders and development and maintenance of the control environment around each of the regulated Group entities; and the provision of management information.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in a medium-to-large sized bank and also have people management experience. You will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or finance with post-graduate degrees and/or professional certifications highly regarded. Experience in a regulatory reporting environment within banking and/or trading environment or audit is preferred.


You will have experience within asset management and program management, with adherence to the regulatory reporting framework implementation across regulatory user groups. You will also be experienced in building regulatory reporting dashboards.
