Network Management ("NM") Team is responsible for the selection and management of the network of agent banks used by the firm. In this role, the group covers the purchasing and maintenance of securities services (custody and clearing) and cash services (payments and other foreign currency services) for LOBs firm-wide. The group also maintains third party oversight of financial market infrastructures relationships in which J.P. Morgan is a direct participant, such as central counterparties, central securities depositories and payment systems. Currently, that network spans nearly 200 financial market infrastructures and over 400 agent banks, including sub-custodians, nostro account relationships, and cash agent/partner banks in over 100 markets. The team works closely with these entities and regulatory authorities in each country to identify market practices, tax rules & strategies, and rules associated with foreign investment.
NM has regional presence in Bournemouth, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris, Singapore and Tokyo. J.P. Morgan's regional approach allows the firm to provide 24 x 7 coverage of our network and to respond to client queries quickly with the most current in-depth market knowledge.
NM is part of the Corporate & Investment Bank Chief Administrative Office. As a firm-wide function, NM is comprised of over 130 team members, supporting multiple LOBs including Corporate & Investment Bank (i.e. TS, IS, Markets), Commercial Bank, and Asset Management. GMI provides a global focus for the firm in order to leverage buying power worldwide, developing in- and out-sourcing initiatives, and management of the associated risks.
This role requires an experienced Business / Data Analyst with technical skills in intelligent automation tools - Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path.
The candidate will drive and collaborate with Market Management, Technology and other stakeholders to understand the business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations.
The candidate will be working on time consuming and repeatable MIS processes for analysis and review of data available between various applications used within Network Management group and produce relevant metrics to summarize the analysis
Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data with experience in automating business processes with help of design tools like Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path etc. Basic knowledge of programming languages like SQL and Python or basic knowledge on Hadoop infrastructure would be an added advantage.
Participate in design forums to explain the framework and automation designs to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Business / Data Analyst with minimum 5/6 years work experience required.
- Extensive development and testing experience with either Alteryx, Tableau or UI Path automation tools.
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel to be used for data set analyzing.
- Should possess Problem-solving skills along with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong reporting skills to present insights concisely.
- Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
