The Business Management team within the Global Markets division of Jefferies is a highly analytical and process driven team and provides direct support to the senior management team and business leaders across the Equity and Fixed Income Division.






The role is within the Mumbai Business Management team which is an extension of the Global Markets COO group. The successful candidate will work closely and proactively with the E Commerce / E Trading team in the Fixed Income business to extend the remit of the team, setting its agenda in alignment with business needs, and driving its development. Great potential exists for the team to move into areas such as revenue maximization and regular client contact and communication.






Roles and Responsibilities:




Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:



  • End to end management of ETrading and client enablement process across platforms such as MarketAxess, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, etc.

  • Support enhancements, streamlining current processes and new projects.

  • Maintain Client Static account and sales coverage mappings across various systems for STP trade processing and Sales RFQ views.

  • Liaise with Middle Office. Client Onboarding and CRM for all static related initiatives.

  • Manage Internal employees onboarding and offboarding set up.

  • Vendor relationship management.

  • Creating and producing Client / Trader reports, trade rejection metrics and other MIS for senior management

  • Analysis of Market Share and Hit Ratio for the E Commerce platform.






Other responsibilities may include: ·



  • Work with business groups to prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business summaries for the management committee, including year-end business plans and budgets.

  • Drive improvements in performance analysis & reporting.

  • Conduct Competitive analysis and reporting

  • Maintain client coverage tables and track client profitability daily





Key requirements:



  • Candidates with prior exposure in working on platforms such as Market Access, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, etc. will be preferred. Additionally, candidates with exposure to Markets divisions, specifically Fixed Income, will be preferred.

  • 2-4 years of Work Experience

  • Expert with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications is required.

  • Excellent communication skills. Keen attention to detail.

  • Ability and confidence to liaise with Senior Managers and Regional team counterparts.

  • Sound understanding of Business & Client Management.
