Our client is a leading firm in IT services and consulting seeking a Junior SAS analyst. Your role is to maintain and support SAS products during deployment, upgrade and any changes to SAS products during other enterprise activities that impact the SAS infrastructure.


Tasks

• Responsible for data cleansing, validation, aggregation and analysis;


• Develop and maintain analytics reports for strategic and business planning and improvement;


• Meet with key stakeholders to present and review data analysis and reports to support decisions;


• Automate existing Excel reports in SAS;


• Actively participate with project teams to resolve data anomalies and methodology questions;


• Produce quarterly residual value forecast models in SAS;


• Work closely with statistical modelers to apply models in SAS in order to produce accurate, efficient, and traceable forecast results;

Requirements

• Bachelors in Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline;


• Analytical skills with the ability to organize, maintain, process and analyze vast amounts of information and complex issues;


• Hands-on with one of the statistical analytics programming packages SAS;


• Ability to develop project plans works independently and effectively under time constraints;


• Analytical skills with the ability to organize, maintain, process and analyze vast amounts of information and complex issues;


• Capability to use common analytical software packages and produce reporting products with those packages, SAS and Excel;


• Ability to communicate findings in a clear, concise manner including verbally, graphically and in writing to a variety of audiences;


• Problem-solving skills and structured thinking;
