To support the Financial Crime Screening operation by providing support for the technological services used by the team and ensure development and delivery of high quality data forensics. This will involve both directly performing analytical and development work, as well as working with the Barclays internal technical teams to ensure continued delivery of the platforms used. Additionally, compliance with Sanctions policies and work practices will be monitored and all requirements and restrictions adhered to.

What will you be doing?

  • Accountable for ensuring complete understanding of technical changes related to workflow and their implications for the operators and customer experience

  • Accountable for identifying, analysing and resolving/implementing processing issues to prevent re-occurrence, reducing loss to the business

  • Work with workflow team across sites and take joint responsibility for the control the workflow to enssure process efficiencies are achieved, team performance is optimised, Service Level Agreement are met by ensuring productivity and accuracy measures are in place

  • To provide support and cover in terms of process management to other Process Experts as required ensuring effective team working across the operation

  • Serve as the primary point of contact on Workflow related work

  • Serve as subject-matter expert on workflow optimization issues

  • Ensure service level targets are met; maintain the right headcount, and calculate resource capacity

  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all the Data related to workflow

  • Responsible for reporting data management activities around employee scheduling and volumes forecasts

  • Responsible for Queue monitoring and ensuring all SLA’s are met on time

  • Responsible for attending and leading various planning calls

  • Working closely with the OPS teams across sites to understand their workflow requirements

  • Improve processes and increase efficiency of operations by recommending necessary changes

What we’re looking for:

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Proficient in MS Office applications

  • They must possess analytical skills essentially for reviewing information, analyzing data, and making appropriate recommendations for improvement

  • Comprehensive understanding of governance and control frameworks and processes

  • Working knowledge/Understanding of End to End payment flows

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Knowledgde or Experience of Financial Crime Opertaions domain

  • Experience in data crunching/ analysis

  • Design and managing SharePoints

  • Experience in data manipulation of large datasets through the use of analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL, VBA, Python, R) and a willingness to learn new languages and take on understanding of processes as required for the role.
