Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for a Corporate Service Provider. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to handle daily operations and MIS independently.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations

Ensure accurate and timely MIS preparation along with required schedules

Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance as per UAE regulations

Maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue recognition

Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders

Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

Assist management with financial analysis and reports as required

Key Competencies & Skills

Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and accounting best practices

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability

Proficiency in any ERP system (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)

Experience in reconciliation and daily operations management

High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

35 years of UAE accounting experience

Immediate or short notice period preferred

Job Location:

First 3 months Dubai

Thereafter Abu Dhabi

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance (mandatory)

Professional qualification such as CA / CMA / ACCA will be an added advantage
