Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

Summary:

The Financial Controlling and Analysis (FC&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations, providing oversight on financial activities and controls. This includes general accounting, management and external reporting, and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, and the management of the P&L and balance sheet to deliver solutions that increase insight and transparency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Entity Owner for critical and complex entities.
• Prepare, submit, and document management reporting packs ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate across teams to provide high-quality, timely management information to the business.
• Act as a key point of contact for markets and FC team.
• Ensure completeness of profit center/market figures.
• Support finance processes requiring business judgment.
• Provide accurate and timely analysis as needed, with rapid turnaround for ad hoc queries.
• Preliminary review of Trial Balance to identify risks and opportunities.
  
• Monitor P&L and/or BS accounts for inconsistencies.
• Prepare and post accruals for accurate month-end results.
• Role model for reporting team members in behavior, professional knowledge, and stakeholder approach.
• Quality review of reconciliations and challenge the status quo.
• Contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm, and support to process improvement.
• Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes.
• Develop good working relationships with Regional Finance, FC team, markets, and global teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in finance, accounting, or business.
• Proven track record in Financial Accounting, Reporting, or Financial Controlling.
• 7-8 years of accounting experience.

• Ability to interpret business data into SAP data.

• Reliable, consistent, and detail-focused.
• Internal/external audit experience and/or SOX knowledge is a plus.
