Job Description
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators to senior management
- Conduct site visits to assess project status and identify potential issues
- Prepare and review project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project challenges and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Support the Project Manager in client communications and stakeholder management
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and closeout documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or construction management
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
