Qualification & Experience:

The candidate will join the Manufacturing engineering team providing digital solutions to manage business processes throughout the Airbus group wide. As such, he/she needs to have a strong customer focus.

The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team using an agile mind-set and methodology.

Graduate in Data Science, AI-ML, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Masters in the relevant field would be an advantage

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience with data visualization tools.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technical requirements:

Traditional ML: Strong proficiency in traditional machine learning modeling is required

Deep Learning Frameworks: Hands-on experience or academic projects using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.

GenAI Tools: Familiarity with LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, and vector databases, LLMs.

Cloud Experience: Practical knowledge of at least one major AI cloud service

AWS SageMaker: Notebooks, Training Jobs, and Endpoints.

GCP Vertex AI: Model Garden, Pipelines, and Workbench.

SAP BTP AI Core: Deploying and managing AI models in a business context.

SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries to extract data from relational databases.

Understanding of CI/CD principles for automated model deployment.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus different platforms landscapes.

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy data science models and existing programs for performance improvement.

• Ensure customer-facing requirement analysis and delivery of digital data solutions.

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and suggest suitable solutions.
