Job Description

Role Purpose

Al Masaood is the official distributor of Instagrid in the UAE and currently the sole distributor across the GCC. We represent market‑leading portable battery power solutions that replace diesel and petrol generators with clean, reliable, grid‑quality electricity for professional use across the construction, film & media, and emergency services sectors.

This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth by proactively identifying new prospects, building a robust sales pipeline, and converting opportunities into long‑term strategic partnerships within the power generation market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sales mindset alongside the technical confidence to articulate the value of portable battery power systems and deliver tailored solutions to industrial, commercial, and government clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach new prospects, consultants, and clients in the power generation sector.
  • Generate high-quality leads through research, networking, and proactive market outreach.
  • Maintain a dynamic sales pipeline and follow up on all incoming inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive CRM/customer database.
  • Conduct regular visits to project sites and customer offices to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Promote the company's product range, including diesel/gas generators and electrical panels.
  • Understand customer needs, provide customized solutions, and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Follow up on quotations, negotiate offers, and close deals to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the Application Support and Sales Support teams to prepare submittals and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Assist clients in technical product selection and explain technical specifications clearly.
  • Support in obtaining technical approvals from consultants or project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are processed correctly and payments are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports covering key activities, trends, and forecasts.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competition, and customer requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience in sales within the

  • Strong understanding of target markets – Construction, Media, Emergency services.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong English communication skills, Arabic is preferred.
  • Valid UAE driving license and car is a must.
