MEP Project Manager

Job Overview

To perform related duties as per required by the Project Manager and to develop such work environment in which subordinates put their dedication and contributions to help bringing department and organizational goals to reality.

Key Accountabilities

• Review of Job Review Report after checking final estimation from Estimation Department.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Furnishing necessary information to Drawing Dept. for the preparation of drawings.
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
  
• Responsible for obtaining Material / Drawing approval from Consultant / Client.
• Preparing Material Requisition and Material Analysis sheet for material requirement.
• Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific jobs to Site Engineer and Supervisors.
• Produce and witness all test inspection & commissioning reports.
• Assisting PM in the preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manual for the client.
• Any other additional responsibilities/ activities assigned by the superior.
• Develop and maintain quality service that contributes to achieving the objective set out in the strategic plan and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain an environment and culture that improves health, safety and security.
• Show commitment towards the quality policy & procedures and ensure that all activities and documents produced are inline as per the QMS.
• Comply with established HSE policies and procedures and correctly use all appropriate equipment provided.
• Adhere to the instructions issued to protect the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Equivalent
• Project management certification is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• In-depth industry knowledge and expertise.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions.
