Celonis Data Engineer - Full Remote - Contractor In USD

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Celonis Data Engineer with +8 years of IT experience.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain and Support the Celonis EMS Platform with all the transformations and KPIs implemented;
• Document the transformations and the KPIs implemented for the different areas with process flows;
• Support small enhancements to the transformations and the KPI library;
• Constantly optimize SQL and closely manage APC of the Celonis EMS platform;
  
• Work with ITS team for any testing related to the platform or setup;
• Work with Celonis team and product support team to handle any issues related to the platform;
• Review the tasks assigned and report back on status in a timely manner;
• Write performant, scalable and easy to understand SQL queries and optimize existing ones, as well as other parts of data pipelines;
• Document and promote the optimization techniques across the different transformations and KPIs;
• Celonis Certification (Data Engineer/Implementation Professional) is a plus
• Review and manage APC for optimal use;
• Implement Change management for existing data pools and KPI;

Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +8 years of experience in software development with 2+ years in process mining platform Celonis is a must;
• Strong hand-on experience in Relational databases, SQL, ETL;
• Strong hand-on working experience with ERP systems (SAP), data extraction, data analysis, reporting, etc;
• Strong analytical skills, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems;
• Preferred experience working in any of two of the Finance / Business Processes such as Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, Indirect Tax, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Maintenance Work Order, Production order, etc;
• Fluent in English;
