Head Electrical & Instrumentation

• Continuous Processing Plant / HT power system ( 132 KV switchyard), DG sets, PLC system, SCADA , DCS, variables frequency drives, electrical maintenance (motors, HT, LT panels, breakers, EOT cranes), UPS system, TQM and other safety standards, cost management systems, basic computer & AutoCAD, liasoning with Rajasthan State Electric Board, electrical inspector, managerial, communication, leadership, analytical skill, physically fit, good eye sight, sense of sound, sense of touch, ability to use PPE properly.

• Monitor & implement SOPs for safety so as to build safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety norms through continuous training.

• Do proper checking of all electrical equipments and system by review of maintenance plan.

Required Skills

• Conduct breakdown analysis and execute countermeasure action plan.
• Undertake initiatives to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
• Monitor and facilitate implementation of ISO 9001 & 14001, 5S,TQM standards in daily maintenance practices.

• Develop proposals and detailed engineering of various projects in different applications to suit the requirement in the plant
• Oversee project activities involving working out various requirements with respects to machines, equipments and manpower; monitoring operations for ensuring timely completion.
• Develop financial projections , preparing budgets and performing extensive project costing.
• Manage resources to perform project activities in a cost effective manner.
• Look after detailed engineering design and management, submittals, approvals and procurement
• Prepare detailed specifications of equipments and assisting purchase department, conduct equipment identification, vendor development and negotiation.
• Evaluate and undertake improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and equipments performance through up keepment and upgradation of electrical, instrumentation, control and power system.
• Manage analysis of all breakdowns and execution of countermeasure action plan as per schedule to minimize breakdowns
• Manage for planning and maintaining the required spares for smooth and uninterrupted process operation.
• Monitor the operation & maintenance activities in order to provide uninterrupted supply of power, compressed air, water and steam to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain the equipments/machineries in healthy condition in order to support production activities.
• Evaluate & undertake the improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and financial improvements.

• Plan and develop the skill set as per roles and responsibility and strive to build up and maintain high morale and motivation in department members.
• Facilitate the implementation of performance management & deployment management system by doing target setting, assessment and reviewing for the reportees.
• Analyze and submit MIS reports of the department to plant heads perusal.
• Present executive function summary of the department to management committee meeting.
• Ensure compliance of the various departmental statutory requirement like annual inspection report from electrical inspector, timely submission of DG duty, cess return, utility bills etc
