Job Title: Associate Director of Finance
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, accounting, receivable management, and budgeting. The Associate Director of Finance will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report on accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and following up on outstanding payments.
- Oversee accounting processes, including revenue recognition and adherence to financial regulations.
- Prepare management reports and provide analysis on financial performance, key metrics, and trends.
- Collaborate with senior management to prepare financial presentations for board meetings.
- Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and target setting.
- Address investor queries and provide necessary financial information and analysis.
- Work closely with Sales, CRM, and Tech teams to analyze variances and identify areas for improvement.
- Streamline financial processes and implement controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead or contribute to automation projects, such as implementing finance software tools like Zoho.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA, MBA, or similar qualifications preferred.
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong background in MIS reporting, budget preparation, and receivable management.
- Experience in the Fintech or SAAS industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and revenue recognition standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between 27-32 LPA, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
