Paid Search Manager

What Youll Do
Avalara is looking for an experienced Paid Search Manager that is passionate about driving performance to join our eight- paid media team.

• You will manage the execution of paid search strategies across key markets including the USA, promoting our global suite of financial SaaS products.
• You will partner with our teams and external agencies to exceed growth and ROI targets through ongoing optimization of paid search campaigns that capture demand and increase revenue.
• You will report to the paid media team manager.
• This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a team of highly experienced paid search, display, and paid social experts. We will recognize your skills here, and we will provide you with the support and training required to take them to the next level.
  

What Your Responsibilities Will Be
Day-to-day you will focus on:

• Collaborate with partners on keyword selection, ad copy and audience targeting to plan, launch and increase campaigns on Google and Microsoft Ads
• Test new formats and strategies such as Performance Max and AI Max with a view to increasing inquiry volume while maintaining quality
• You will track and report on goals, analyzing performance, so you can share results and insights with partners
• 
  Monitor budgets and adjust bid strategies to maintain campaign pacing, while ensuring optimal efficiency both within individual campaigns and across multiple products, audiences and ad accounts
  

What Youll Need To Be Successful

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience directly managing Google Ads with or on behalf of B2B-focused SaaS companies
• Experience managing large budgets and meeting/exceeding monthly goals for spend, MQLs, revenue, customer acquisition, and other key performance metrics
• Experience using advanced bidding strategies such as offline conversions and value-based bidding
• Experience running and discerning actionable insights from A/B and multivariate testing
• Experience using enterprise platforms and analytics tools: SA360, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Salesforce
• Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills, including in Excel, and the ability to interpret data from various sources to make data-driven decisions.
