Job Description
To be successful as a Automation Test Lead you should have experienced with:
- Work closely with the Engineering and Analysis Teams to develop and execute End to End Automation including Non-Functional aspects in close coordination with the stakeholders across Business/Product, technology and operations.
- Responsible for defining Test automation Strategy. Apply the right processes, tools, methods and skills to deliver the Test Automation aspect of a project from business case through to closure.
- Authorship of test completion reports to required governance standards Raising and tracking of defects liaison with developers and business stakeholders on resolution The role holder will guide and manage the team to do high quality releases including helping the team to execute deployment scripts and post deployment testingmonitoring.
- The role holder will drive continuous improvement, delivering initiatives to improve performance, processes and controls to support applications.
- The role holder will be responsible for continuously managing TCO efficiently and driving costs down and drive quality up through automation and efficient change management.
- Be a critical part of the Wealth India Management team and contribute to the wider India initiatives for the entire Wealth division. .
- The ideal candidate should be educated to a degree level or above and should preferably be a BE/MBA/CA.
- The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of English language with strong written and verbal communications to deliver against our commitment to providing a world class service and drive our dedication to the client experience.
- Test Automation (preferably within a Java framework)
- Working knowledge of SQL must have the ability to interrogate databases and integrate with Test suite.
- Working experience and knowledge of continuous integration and source control systems (e.g. Jenkins, GIT).
- Technology Test Manager at a peer global bank or financial services organization with a strong understanding of capital markets, products and banking processes.
- ISTQB Intermediate Level (or above).
- Knowledge of investment banking products (Wealth Investment Management, Credit domain, Client onboarding).

To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
Accountabilities
- Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues. ??????? .
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested.
- Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organizations technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
