Product Owner

Collaborate closely with system architects to translate high-level design specifications into detailed technical requirements for development teams

Lead and mentor junior development teams in the implementation of complex system integrations, providing technical guidance and support

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on the technical aspects of the product

Ensure that the technical solutions align with the product goals

Be the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring that technical requirements and priorities are communicated clearly

Regularly update stakeholders on technical progress, risks and dependencies, and delivery timelines

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical reviews, define acceptance criteria, ensuring development teams have clear priorities and well-defined stories

Understanding of industry best practices for system integration, security, and performance optimization

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the field of system integration to ensure continuous improvement and innovation

Collaborate with external teams to define and refine interface requirements, data mapping strategies, and security protocols

Identify opportunities to improve product features, technical processes, and overall team efficiency

Ensure best practices in product management, technical delivery, and quality assurance

Follow best engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and could-native development

Skills

Minimum 5 + yrs of experience in software development

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, or in a similar role with a strong technical background

Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with a strong academic record

Prior experience as a Developer, Architect, or Technical Team Lead

Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Node, Python, C++, or Go, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

Experience with various integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, message queues, and event-driven architectures

Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to optimize system performance and scalability

Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and technical expertise

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts

Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges while keeping the overall product vision and user needs in mind

Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams

Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience with identity (OAuth, OIDC, JWT)

Experience working with agile/scrum development teams and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems like Git

Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices

Strong experience in cloud-native application development, and containerization (Docker/ Kubernetes)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
