Product Owner

Schedule Management Ensures that project timelines are established and published and assists with the determination of a project scope that is scheduled in manageable components

Financial management oversees the forecasting, budget tracking, analysis and communications assessed, documented and managed through to completion

Risk Management communications, mitigation and tracking of overall project risk

Status and Communication management accountable to create project status and communication materials for executive review

Change Management accountable for the efficient and timely management of the Change Management process ensures all project change requests are well understood, tracked and

Process Management participates in project delivery best practices, and focal point for overall project health

Works closely with the business stakeholders and the IT teams to mitigate project risk and maintain momentum

Provides leadership and direction for Project Managers and the development team

Facilitate Scrum Events: Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective

Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics to increase probability of success each sprint

Coach teams in self-organization, continuous improvement and Scrum framework practices

Incorporate lessons learned and continuous improvements into the delivery cycle

Work with product team in creating and maintaining the User Stories, Deliverables, Backlog, Jira board and Team Capacity planning

Point of contact for internal and external communication

Prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, achieve set goals, and deliver timely results

Resource management of both internal and external resources assigned to a project

Accountable for on time and quality delivery of new/enhanced functionality

Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of costs

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role

Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis, reporting, and validation

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with data-centric products, analytics platforms, or SaaS applications

Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Power BI, or similar

Experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, or business intelligence environments

Knowledge of database platforms such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Snowflake

Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) or Agile certification
