Role Overview
The Merchandising Executive supports the commercial performance of the brand through strong data analysis, accurate product setup, and day-to-day merchandising execution across D2C and marketplace channels. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working deep in Excel and backend systems like Shopify.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising & Data Analysis
- Own daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports across categories, styles, and channels
- Track sell-through, stock cover, size performance, and best / worst sellers
- Maintain and update core Excel trackers for sales, inventory, launches, and pricing
- Support the Merchandising & Planning Manager with data for buys, reorders, and in-season decisions
- Identify basic trends and flag risks or opportunities using data
Product Setup & Channel Execution
- Manage end-to-end product uploads on Shopify including titles, descriptions, images, pricing, tags, and collections
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across Shopify, marketplaces, and internal trackers
- Handle product uploads and updates for marketplace partners (Myntra, Nykaa, etc.) as per their guidelines
- Coordinate with Design, Marketing, and Tech teams to ensure correct go-live timelines
- Support launches, edits, and sale setups from a backend execution perspective
Inventory & Operations Support
- Assist in tracking inventory levels by style, size, and channel
- Update stock availability and manage basic allocation logic across platforms
- Support end-of-season processes including markdown setup and exit tracking
Skills & Experience
- 24 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce operations, or analytics roles (fashion or consumer brands preferred)

- Advanced Excel skills are essential (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, basic data analysis)
- Hands-on experience with Shopify backend; marketplace experience is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Comfortable working with data daily and executing repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
