Financial Planning Analyst

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-potential fresher to join our FP&A and Business Finance team. This role offers a strong foundation in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering within a fast-growing payments and fintech ecosystem. You will work closely with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, financial reporting, and process improvements.

What Youll Do:

• Support the preparation of MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations with accurate financial data and insights.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis under guidance from senior team members.
• Help analyze revenue, costs, and key business drivers to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support finance business partnering with Sales, Product, and Operations teams on GMV, pricing, and cost analysis.
• Assist in customer-level and deal-level profitability analysis, including basic ROI assessments.
• Contribute to financial data automation and dashboarding initiatives.
• Support process documentation and optimization to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Assist in benchmarking and market studies to compare company performance with industry standards.
• Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

• Qualified CA (Fresher) or MBA in Finance from a Tier-1 institute.
• Strong understanding of basic financial statements, P&L concepts, and business fundamentals.
• Good analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or analytics tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
