About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence for a fast-growing company in Dubai, with a focus on the fintech or proprietary trading sector. This executive role requires deep operational expertise, outstanding leadership, and a strong track record in process optimisation, cross-border operations, and high-performance team management. The COO will spearhead the implementation of advanced systems, automation, and AI to achieve strategic goals and scalable growth.

• Oversee daily business operations, ensuring seamless process flow and best-in-class efficiency across all departments.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of operational processes, leveraging AI and automation technologies.
• Build, manage, and mentor a self-driven, high-performance team focused on results and continuous improvement.
  
• Drive cross-border operations, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, using data-driven analysis and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and execute business strategies.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to the CEO.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability throughout the organisation.
• Ensure all processes meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Extensive operational leadership experience, ideally within fintech, proprietary trading, or technology-driven businesses.
• Proven expertise in process optimisation, cross-border operations, and team management.
• Strong ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performance, self-motivated team.
• Deep knowledge of AI, automation, and business systems implementation.
• Attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Innovative mindset with a track record of delivering scalable, technology-driven solutions.
