Purpose Of Hiring
As a Senior Data Scientist, a person will be responsible for developing and deploying data science models across functional areas. Based on business performance and discussions with business partners, identify ML use-cases, prioritise, plan and develop machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to deliver business impact.
Roles & Responsibilities
? Collaborate Across Functions: Engage with various departments to create opportunities for machine learning and data science
? Project Leadership: Take ownership of data science projects from ideation to execution, coordinating with business leaders and cross-functional teams and completing the projects.
? Solution Design: Architecting scalable and impactful machine learning for business challenges, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
? Hands-On Development: Developing machine learning and AI models using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies, ensuring best practices in model creation.
? Stakeholder Communication: Presenting data science insights, model results and recommendations to senior stakeholders
? Deployment & Integration: Working with data engineers and platform teams to deploy robust machine learning and AI solutions
? Performance Monitoring: Setting up measurement and monitoring frameworks to continuously track, analyse, and enhance model performance.
? Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior data scientists and data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BE/BTech/MSc/MTech/PhD) with 3 to 7 years of experience in Machine Learning and Data Science.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and its services.
• Expertise in AI/ML: Experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI, with a proven track record of applying these skills to solve real-world problems.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex challenges with innovative solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cloud & Big Data Skills: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and proficiency in tools such as Spark and Scala.
• Database Knowledge: Expertise in working with both structured (SQL) and NoSQL databases, with a deep understanding of data management and retrieval.
