About the Role:
Accountant to manage all aspects of invoice processing and vendor payments. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
What you will be doing:
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents
Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts
Prepare and process weekly/biweekly payment runs
Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month-end closing and reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Who we are looking for:
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is Mandatory, Any relevant Certifications is an added advantage
58 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
Being tech savvy and worked with different softwares is an advantage.
