The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary Data Science & Generative AI Lead to shape and drive our next generation of AI-powered solutions. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of generative AI, cloud computing, and data science, contributing to transformative projects across industries and national programs.
You will lead the design and deployment of advanced AI models, translate insights into actionable strategies, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated, future-ready solutions. Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Leadership
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced AI algorithms and models aligned with Core42's strategic vision.
• Oversee a team of data scientists and AI engineers, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
• Guide the responsible and ethical application of AI technologies across enterprise and national-scale initiatives.
• Data-Driven Innovation
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive measurable business and public sector outcomes.
• Champion data-driven decision-making, ensuring best practices in data collection, management, and governance.
• Introduce and evaluate emerging generative AI approaches, ensuring Core42 remains a benchmark for innovation in the region.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to integrate AI within broader digital ecosystems.
• Partner with industry stakeholders to align AI capabilities with customer-centric outcomes and scalable delivery models.

  Get Hired
  Communicate complex data and AI concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Research & Emerging Technologies
• Proactively identify advancements in AI, ML, and cloud technologies to continuously enhance Core42's service offerings.
• Ensure that all AI and data activities comply with the latest security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Build partnerships with academic and industry leaders to stay at the forefront of global AI trends.
  

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required Skills / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Minimum 10 years experience in technology, with at least 5 years in data science or AI within a cloud platform environment.
• Certifications in data science, AI, or cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of big data, machine learning frameworks, and analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to lead AI-driven projects from strategy through implementation.
