Job Description : Product Development - Data Engineer or Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling. They should be proficient in ETL tools, SQL, and have experience with source to target mappings. The candidate should also possess knowledge of KPI and Power BI, along with a good understanding of backend or dashboarding tools. Familiarity with Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Perform source to target mappings and ensure accurate data transformation.
• Create and maintain data models and dimension models to support business reporting and analytics needs.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Participate in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
• Provide support in the development and implementation of KPI computations and decision-making processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, ETL tools, and data visualization techniques.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate data solutions into new or existing products.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues in production Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience performing source to target mappings and ensuring data accuracy.
• Good understanding of data modeling and dimension modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with KPI computations and decision-making processes using backend or dashboarding tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Python knowledge is a plus.
