Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer provides technical leadership and architectural direction for mission-critical, high-scale systems. This role is responsible for designing resilient platforms, mentoring engineers, and driving innovationincluding the strategic use of AI across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex backend architectures
• 
  Define and enforce best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
• Architect distributed systems supporting high-volume financial transactions.
• Own technical decision-making and system evolution.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and guidance.
• Drive DevOps maturity, automation, and reliability engineering.
• Collaborate with leadership on roadmap planning and technical strategy.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Champion AI adoption to improve system intelligence, operational efficiency, and engineering productivity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• Experience using LLM's/agentseg: Claude Code as part of the development process
• Expert-level backend or frontend development and system design skills.
• Deep experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Advanced database design, optimization, and data modeling expertise.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling.
