Job Title: Release Manager - AVP
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
- Were expanding our global tech footprint in India and are looking for a Release Manager to join our Single Sign-On Services Engineering team. In this role, youll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Youll work closely with engineering, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth, secure, and timely deployments.

- Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to deployment and post-release validation
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define release scope, timelines, and dependencies
- Ensure release readiness by validating infrastructure, code quality, and deployment pipelines
- Coordinate with DevOps teams to automate and optimize release workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Kubernetes Operators
- Maintain release calendars and communicate schedules and risks to stakeholders
- Monitor production deployments and ensure rollback strategies are in place
- Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for release-related issues
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and change management policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes and tools
- Proven experience in release management, DevOps, or software delivery coordination
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native deployment strategies

- Hands-on experience with GitHub, Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple releases across distributed teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluent in English
