Job Summary
The District Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing an integrated Retail and Medical commercial team to achieve sales, distribution, visibility, and execution excellence across the district.
This role manages a diverse team requiring strong coaching, clear expectation setting, and the ability to build a cohesive, values-driven, high-performance culture.
This role will consistently demonstrate and represent the company's values and spirit to our internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sales targets and drive sustainable growth across Retail and Medical portfolios.
- Lead execution excellence through strong sales processes, field-force effectiveness, and KPI discipline.
- Coach, develop, and motivate teams through structured field coaching, performance management, and clear development plans.
- Build and optimize relationships with key accounts, HCPs, KTLs, chains, and distributors to unlock growth.
- Ensure effective, compliant use of budgets, samples, and resources to maximize ROI.
- Drive flawless execution of launches and ongoing portfolio prioritization.
- Embed a data-driven culture using dashboards, POS/IMS insights, forecasting, and performance analytics.
- Lead retail execution excellence (SOS, OSA, ND, planograms, pricing, visibility).
- Strengthen medical engagement through high-quality scientific communication and advocacy-building visits.
- Own district performance, forecasting accuracy, and local business planning.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Training, Medical Affairs, and Distributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (medical, life sciences, pharmacy, or related).

- Medical or pharmaceutical industry experience (essential).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid commercial acumen with advanced sales and account management experience.
- Strong analytical ability; comfortable working with numbers and turning data into actionable insights.
- Proficient in dashboards, commercial reporting tools, and data interpretation (POS, IMS, SOS/OSA, ND, distribution).
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adopt new systems and AI-enabled tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and tools such as Power BI.
- Sales/retail and management experience (preferred).
- Willingness to travel frequently across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain and conduct multiple field visits daily.
