Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for internal recruitment and talent acquisition activities. The ideal candidate will have a combination of both agency recruitment and in-house recruitmentto bring energy and enthusiasm to a talent acquisition function filling corporate positions.
Our client based in Abu Dhabi, a leading Semi-Government entity in the UAE and a global leader in its industry. This position is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and current challenges to fill various roles within the team.
- Update job descriptions and advertise job openings using internal and external channels.
- Source candidates through internal and external channels; perform headhunting activities; use networking and referrals to identify potential candidates.
- Perform an initial screening process of applicants and provide a shortlist of the candidates to the hiring manager.
- Manage the interview process in accordance with the hiring manager's availability both online and face-to-face.
- Actively update and provide a report to hiring managers and the Head of HR on the status of open positions.
- Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance.
- Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs.
- Keep candidates updated and motivated during the whole hiring process.
- Provide interview feedback for all the candidates.
- Support offer management and negotiation process as well as onboarding process if required.

Knowledge, skills & experience:
- 5-7 years in recruitment or talent acquisition with a preference for candidates who have spent some time working in a leading agency.
- Experience in hiring engineering roles.
- Experience in gathering job requirements and creating job descriptions based on the information provided.
- Strong experience using various external channels for candidate sourcing and headhunting.
- Good understanding of the concept of Boolean search and ability to identify candidates with specific experience.
- Experience in managing senior-level stakeholders.
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Result-oriented and able to work independently.
