Project Engineer

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Mechanical Integrity Solutions Business unit Team.

Responsible for the successful delivery of hot tapping and leak sealing projects, ensuring operational excellence, technical accuracy, and full compliance with QHSE standards. This role combines project leadership, client engagement, financial control, and people management to support safe operations and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hot tapping and leak sealing projects, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget, and within-spec execution.
• Provide technical and commercial expertise for quotations, tenders, and project planning, ensuring accuracy in scope, cost, and margins.
• 
  Act as the primary client interface to understand requirements, present solutions, and manage expectations effectively.
• Coordinate and optimize resources across workshop, procurement, and project teams to ensure efficient execution and high-quality service.
• Monitor project performance, schedules, risks, and KPIs, implementing corrective and preventive actions where required.
• Enforce QHSE, regulatory, and client requirements across all project and operational activities.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, cash flow, and asset utilization to meet financial objectives.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide clear, proactive communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency to support client satisfaction, repeat business, and business growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of safety, integrity, collaboration, and performance excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in project engineering, preferably in oil & gas services, hot tapping, leak sealing, or pipeline interventions.
• Proven hands-on track record managing technical and commercial project delivery in a service environment.
