About Fam (previously FamPay)
Fam is Indias first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 million+ youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life. Founded in 2019 by IIT Roorkee alumni, Fam is backed by some of the most respected investors around the world like Elevation Capital, Y-Combinator, Peak XV (Sequoia Capital) India, Venture Highway, Global Founders Capital and the likes of Kunal Shah, Amrish Rao as angel investors.
About the role:

With a product thats aimed at teenagers, its essential for us to reach out to our users with our views in the form that they would like to consume.
We are looking for a top quality creative content writer with high capability to understand the pulse of the target market and craft engaging and delightful content across channels.
On the Job
- Youll be deeply involved in the full content pipeline: scripting videos, building narratives, participating in shoots, assisting with production, and even contributing to casting when needed.
- You should be comfortable in front of the camera when required, excited about experimenting with formats, and able to translate trends into content that feels authentically Fam.
- Beyond YouTube, youll play an active role in shaping Fams social presence by identifying viral trends early, bringing fresh ideas, and creating content that resonates with Gen-Z.
- Youll also work closely with product and design teams on in-app copy and communication, ensuring everything stays sharp, youthful, and on-brand.
- If youre someone who constantly thinks of new angles, spots trends before they peak, and loves turning chaotic internet culture into smart storytelling - this role is built for you.
Must Have
- Under-graduate (preferably communication/media degree)
- 0-2 years of experience working with a startup or creative agency in content/marketing related roles
- Up to date with recent trends and social media
- Portfolio showcasing prior work
Good to Have
- Experience in scripting for thumbstoppers, instagram reels, YT.
- Knack for identifying trends/ formats that can go viral.
