Job Description
The Venture-Backed Accounting Founder is an experienced accounting professional who will found and lead a new accounting firm with backing from a Venture Studio. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial accountant who wants majority ownership, strategic control, and long-term equity upside, without needing to self-fund or build operational infrastructure from scratch.
This is a founder role, not employment.

Venture Studio Model
- 80% Founder / 20% Venture Studio
- No capital investment required from the Founder
- Founder retains majority equity and profit participation
- Funding for development, technology, and infrastructure
- Brand creation, website, CRM, and systems
- Marketing strategy, execution, and lead generation
- Sales, onboarding, and operational management
- Ongoing growth strategy and performance support
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Founder and senior accounting authority of the firm
- Define firm vision, service offerings, and client focus
- Oversee accounting, tax, compliance, and advisory services
- Maintain regulatory, ethical, and professional standards
- Lead key client relationships and advisory engagements
- Support early growth through professional networks
- Partner on strategic decisions, pricing, and expansion

- CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent designation
- 7+ years experience in public accounting or advisory
- Proven client leadership and technical expertise
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ownership orientation
- Majority ownership with venture-backed support
- No personal capital risk or operational burden
- Build a scalable firm, not a solo practice
- Long-term equity and profit upside
