Head Of Product Development

TechArabia is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Head of Product & Development to lead our product vision, engineering strategy, and execution across multiple platforms. This role is central to shaping the future of our flagship productsincluding Fortenderand driving a modern, AI-powered engineering culture that prioritizes speed, innovation, and quality.

• Own the full product lifecyclefrom ideation, scoping, and prototyping to deployment and scaling.
• Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with founders, stakeholders, and customers to understand needs and translate them into actionable product features.
• Ensure continuous improvement through rapid iteration, user feedback loops, and data-driven decision-making.

• Lead and mentor the development team, defining best practices and enforcing modern standards.
• Drive an AI-first engineering workflow, ensuring the team leverages AI coding tools, automation, and next-generation development practices to enhance speed and efficiency.
• Oversee the architecture, scalability, and performance of all systems.
• Set coding standards and ensure high-quality, reusable, and maintainable codebases.

• Supervise and participate in development using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Provide direction and support on Python-based projects.
• Ensure end-to-end integration across different technologies.
• Implement version control, CI/CD, testing automation, and engineering best practices.

• Oversee cloud architecture and infrastructure hosted mainly on AWS.
• Ensure reliable DevOps processes, deployment pipelines, and environment management.
• Make key decisions on infrastructure scaling, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor system health, security compliance, and disaster recovery preparedness.

• Champion the adoption of AI coding tools, machine learning integrations, automation frameworks, and new-gen development methodologies.
• Ensure the team avoids slow, traditional coding workflows and instead uses modern, productivity-boosting practices.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven features, ML models, and intelligent product enhancements.
  

• Strong expertise in the MERN Stack:
• MongoDB
• Express.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• Solid experience with Python for backend or AI-related tasks.
• Mandatory experience in AI coding, including:
• Prompt-driven coding workflows
