About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant, Finance & HR to join our small but dynamic team in India. This is a dual-role position that combines accounting, finance tax, and payroll responsibilities with HR operations and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in Indian accounting and labor regulations, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Tax

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, monthly and annual closing reports.
• Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Liaise with external auditors and local authorities as needed.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities.

Payroll & HR Operations

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, payment processing, follow-up with clients for the payment, and timely salary disbursement.
• Manage statutory contributions (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.) and ensure HR compliance, coordination with banks
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation

• Support recruitment, coordination, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Partner with the regional HR team on policy updates and performance management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• 510 years of relevant experience handling both Accounting, Finance and HR functions.
• Solid understanding of Indian tax, payroll, and labor regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.
