Job Description
- Project Coordination & Delivery:
- Take ownership of the onsite delivery phase of joinery and fit-out projects.
- Develop and manage detailed installation programs, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate all site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, site access, and manpower scheduling.
- Manage and lead the onsite installation team, including direct employees and sub-contractors.
- Technical Management & Problem Solving:
- Conduct thorough site surveys to verify dimensions and conditions prior to manufacture and installation.
- Resolve complex technical challenges and onsite discrepancies between design and actual building conditions.
- Review and approve workshop drawings from a site feasibility and installation perspective.
- Coordinate with other trades (MEP, ceilings, flooring) to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements.
- Client & Stakeholder Interface:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, main contractor, and other stakeholders during the installation phase.
- Lead site progress meetings, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Handle technical queries and provide solutions in real-time to avoid project delays.
- Quality & Compliance Control:
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and site safety regulations.

- Conduct regular quality inspections during installation, snagging, and prior to handover.
- Manage the snagging and defect rectification process to achieve client sign-off.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental policies are strictly adhered to on site.

- Essential: Significant experience in managing high-end joinery or architectural fit-out projects on site.
- Essential: Strong technical knowledge of joinery, construction methods, and building regulations.
- Essential: Excellent understanding of site logistics, sequencing, and coordination with other trades.
- Essential: Proven experience in reading construction drawings, GAs, and MEP schematics.
- Desirable: Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Competent in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asta, or similar).
- Valid site safety certifications (e.g., CSCS, SSSTS, or equivalent).
