About the Role
The Vigilance Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of organizational operations. This position involves active liaison with law enforcement authorities and external legal counsels, timely management of internal and external communications, and proactive identification and investigation of fraud, misconduct, and other malpractices. The role demands a high level of discretion, analytical capability, and coordination across various stakeholders to uphold vigilance standards and support organizational governance.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective communication with law enforcement authorities and external legal counsels within defined turnaround times.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure smooth information flow and resolution of vigilance-related matters.
- Prepare, analyze, and present Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up of files and complaint details, both internally and externally.
- Manage workflow efficiently to meet or exceed turnaround time (TAT) expectations.
- Oversee vendor management related to vigilance activities.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on vigilance-related topics.
- Identify and investigate cases of fraud, misconduct, corruption, and other employee-related malpractices.
- Perform surprise checks and inspections to ensure compliance and detect irregularities.
Education
- Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management.

- 2 years of total professional experience, preferably in roles involving vigilance, compliance, legal liaison, or internal investigations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in MIS reporting and data interpretation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Experience in conducting investigations and handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and legal procedures is a plus.
