About the Role
Senior Product Manager Capital Account will be responsible for supporting and growing the Capital Account transactions business within the Retail Liabilities function. Based in Mumbai, this role involves enabling the teams to achieve business budget, ensuring smooth internal processing, and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires close coordination with sales teams, branches, and structured solutions teams to drive business growth while proactively managing regulatory obligations and overdue entries.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

• Support the Capital Account transactions business and co-own the budget.
• Ensure smooth internal processing of Capital Account transactions.
• Maintain compliance across all transactions and proactively prevent overdue entries.
  

Secondary Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline transaction processing.
• Collaborate with sales teams, branches, and structured solutions teams to build and grow the business.
• Monitor compliance through regular MIS inputs and stakeholder coordination.
• Ensure timely closure of regulatory requirements to avoid any overdue entries.
  

What We Are Looking For
Education

• Graduation in any discipline (Full time).
• Post-graduation (MBA/PGDM) is preferred.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in product management, trade finance, or capital account transactions within retail banking.
  

Skills and Attributes

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance related to capital account transactions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work closely with branch teams, trade counsellors, and trade desk officers to drive business outcomes.
• Proactive approach to resolving regulatory issues and ensuring timely compliance.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills for monitoring business performance and regulatory status.
• Fluent in English with effective leadership capabilities.
