Job Description

As an Academic Counsellor at Inc42 Courses, youll initially be the linchpin of our sales efforts, directly counseling and enrolling prospective fellows into our programs. As you lay the groundwork, youll have the opportunity to build and lead a small but high-performing sales team. Your focus will be on delivering a consultative and empathetic sales experience, ensuring alignment between our programs and the business & career goals of our prospective fellows.

What Youll Do:

  • Direct Sales: Manage the entire sales cycle, from inquiry to enrollment, providing a high-touch, empathetic customer experience.
  • Consultative Counseling: Engage with prospective fellows to understand their professional goals and guide them to the appropriate program.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop a sales strategy that can be scaled and implemented by a future sales team.
  • CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records in the CRM, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and conversions.

Skills & Experience

  • A sales professional with 2-5 years of experience in a consultative approach and a focus on customer experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable with extensive communication via Zoom, calls, and emails.
  • High attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team as the role evolves.
