Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through exhibitor sales, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships across local, regional (MEA), and international markets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and building strong, long-term relationships with content producers, distributors, and exhibitors. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, well-connected within the exhibitions or media industry, and capable of collaborating cross-functionally to maximize market presence and participation. The position requires a proactive, target-focused professional who can represent the event effectively at industry events and contribute to ongoing growth and market expansion strategies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive exhibitor, sponsor, and partnership sales to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across local, regional (MEA), and international markets.
- Build, manage, and nurture strong long-term relationships with content producers, distributors, exhibitors, and partners.
- Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closing, and post-sale relationship management.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to maximize exhibitor participation, sponsorship value, and market visibility.
- Represent at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking forums.
- Track sales performance, maintain accurate pipelines and forecasts, and contribute to growth strategy and market expansion initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 2-4 years of proven B2B business development experience, preferably within the exhibitions, media, or content industry.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, securing partnerships, and increasing exhibitor and sponsor participation.
- Strong market knowledge and professional network within Dubai, the MEA region, and international content markets.
- Strategic, commercially sharp, and target-driven with a proactive sales mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
