Job Description
James L Williams Middle East is seeking an experienced ERP & IT Manager to lead the implementation, optimisation, and governance of the company's ERP systems while overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and service delivery across the region. This role is critical in ensuring that technology effectively supports business operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth across UAE and KSA operations.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Leadership & Governance
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation, enhancements, stabilisation, and ongoing support.
- Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and ERP vendors and consultants.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Configure, optimise, and manage ERP modules including Finance, HR, Procurement, Projects, and Inventory.
- Oversee data migration, master data governance, system integrations, and reporting.
- Manage ERP change requests, upgrades, and release planning.
- Support ERP-related audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and end-user support.
- Oversee networks, servers, cloud services, endpoints, and collaboration platforms.
- Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and business continuity.
- Manage IT assets, software licensing, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Information Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain information security controls aligned with ISO 27001.
- Oversee endpoint security, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Conduct IT risk assessments, incident management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure data protection, access control, and regulatory compliance across UAE and KSA, in coordination with the Compliance team.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Provide management reporting, dashboards, and system performance metrics.
- Manage ERP and IT project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Support corporate offices and live project sites across the region.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor to senior management and functional leaders.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 812 years of progressive experience in ERP implementation, IT management, or combined ERP/IT leadership roles.
- Proven hands-on experience managing ERP systems in a medium to large organisation.
- Strong understanding of engineering, contracting, or project-based businesses.
- Solid experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred / Advantage
- ERP certifications (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
- ISO 27001 certification or practical experience implementing information security management systems.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or data centre environments.
- Experience supporting UAE and KSA operations and regional regulatory requirements.
- Project management certification or equivalent experience.
