Backend Engineer (Node.js)

What role will you play in the team:

As a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js, you'll be a crucial part of our server-side development team. You'll design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs to support our web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Node.js. You'll collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality backend solutions. You'll also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving server-side issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with Express.js framework.
• Knowledge of database systems like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API design.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
