What role will you play in the team:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist focusing on SEO, you will be instrumental in enhancing our client's online presence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute SEO strategies, analyze data, and optimize content to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. Your role is vital to ensure our clients achieve their digital marketing goals.
What you will do:
Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, optimizing on-page and off-page SEO elements, and creating comprehensive SEO reports. You will also stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to ensure our strategies remain effective. Additionally, you'll collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content.
Key Responsibility:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value search terms and optimize website content accordingly.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may impact search engine rankings.
- Develop and implement link building strategies to improve website authority and domain ranking.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush, and provide regular reports on key metrics.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Analyze competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and gain a competitive edge.
- Manage and optimize Google My Business listings for local SEO.
- Implement schema markup to improve search engine understanding of website content.
- Work closely with other marketing teams to integrate SEO efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in Google Analytics and Google Ads is preferred.
- Familiarity with local SEO strategies and best practices.
